Co-op Cabs releases new custom iphone App
Calling all Co-op customers!
Last week we released a custom iPhone app that allows you to order a cab using GPS, watch the car arrive and even rate your ride!
As one of Toronto longest standing cab companies, we pride ourselves on our proven service while always looking at how we can innovate and modernize.
That why we asked the tech guru over at Nascent and Overdrive Design to collaborate on a Co-op Cabs iPhone app.
Nascent has done apps for Tumblr, Heart and Stroke Foundation and the Associated Press. Overdrive has done work for clients including the Royal Ontario Museum, Bata Shoe Museum and the Government of Ontario.
Were very excited about the launch and as our CEO, Peter Zahakos, aptly put it, We are very proud of the quality application that we are launching today and are pleased to share it with our customers.
The app includes lots of handy features such as:
– State-of-the-art design and user interface GPS to determine user
location and find the nearest cab
– Watch your cab arrive in real time
– App notifications allow you to close the app while your cab is being
ordered or travelling to your destination
– Provide feedback by rating your ride Book cabs up to 24 hours in advance for worry free planning

Dont have an iPhone? Not to worry. You can order a cab on our website, which was also designed and built by Overdrive and launched in spring 2013.
