**Board Member:** Larry Huang, Secretary

**Co-op Board Member since:** 1979

**History with Co-op:** Ive been driving a cab for Co-op for almost 45 years now. I love what I do.

**Most memorable cab story:**

Ill never forget what it was like when I first received my owner license. I was so eager to drive and back then, there werent as many cabs on the road, so it was incredibly lucrative. I can honestly say it was one of the best times of my life.

I loved driving on Friday nights or Saturdays. I would go to the local grocery stores. Customers would be lined up. I would take 3 or 4 at a time and separate the groceries in the back. They always handed me a nice, big tip. I loved receiving the thanks from customers.

One lady, who I picked up at the grocery store, said I was sent by god because she couldnt get a cab. She was so thankful because of the lack of cabs in Toronto.

**What is it about Co-op that you like?**

I enjoy this job so much because I learn about people and the places theyre going. Co-op was the best and still is the best company to drive for, especially because it a true co-operative. You can really excel in the company if youre willing to take some initiative to find out how to progress yourself. After 45 years, I can say Ive made a success out of my life.

**What might people not know about you?**

I love hockey. I wish I could play like my idols Gordie Howe, Wayne Gretzky or Steve Yzerman
