Co-op Cabs Teams up with MADD Toronto to Discourage Drinking and Driving

Co-op Cabs has joined forces with Mothers Against Drinking and Driving Toronto to try to help bring more awareness to the dangers of driving under the influence. We are proud to be MADD Toronto official 2013/14 cab partner.

MADD Canada, is a charitable, grassroots organization that is committed to stopping impaired driving and supporting the victims of this violent crime.

We are delighted to be partnering with MADD Toronto to bring increased awareness to a very important issue in the GTA, said Peter Zahakos, General Manager, Co-op Cabs. We are very much looking forward to the months ahead to see how we can encourage Torontonians to plan ahead and stay safe.

This partnership builds on Co-op work in December of 2012 with the LCBO on the Deflate the Elephant campaign, where four cabs roofs were outfitted with deflated elephants to raise awareness and give out discounted taxi rides.
Co-op staff are working closely with MADD Toronto to determine how best to raise awareness in Toronto over the coming year. Check back often for more on this exciting partnership.
